There is a blissful home on high,
From sin and sorrow free,
Beyond the gaze of mortal eye,
In love's unbounded sea.

There Christians all shall meet ere long
And all their voices raise
Together in a joyful song
Of never-ending praise.

There we shall our Redeemer greet
And see him as he is,
And dwell forever at his feet,
And know that we are his.

There we shall need no lamp by night,
For night shall never come;
Our God is the unfailing light
Of that sweet, happy home.
