Dutch Moon
Stranglers
[ Предположительная тональность: Em ]

This was originally penned by Baz Warne, now current lead guitarist/vocalist on The Stranglers.
It's a pretty mellow song that comes off the Norfolk Coast album. Some of the vocal phrasing, especially
verse 2 is a little tricky, so I'd suggest listening to the song. Chords are pretty simple: Em, C, D, Bm, G.

I play it with a capo on the second fret. Standard tunings. Enjoy!

Verse 1:

Em
I've seen you there,
                                          C
I've seen you doing your thing in your own space,
           D Bm
In your own time, and that's just fine

Em
But where do you go
                                               C
And have you been somewhere lately where you've seen,
                D Bm
You'd be carefree, if not for me

Chorus

Em Bm C G
Look back to the time when our paths first came together

Em D C Bm
Gazing at a yellow Dutch moon, do it soon

Em Bm C G
Remember my face and the pla-ces it took you

Bm D Em
Under a fading Dutch moon

[Guitar Solo]

Repeat Chorus

Verse 2:

Em
I felt you go,

                                     C
I felt you leaving behind all that we had,

      D Bm Em
In an instant, you're a firebrand, now I curse the moon,

                               C
Forever leading me gently by my hand

         D
Into your land

C D
By my hand, into your land

C D
By my hand, into your land

C D
By my hand, into your land
