Hi
I had this file done for a friend of mine, and I thought you might want to add the songs to your list:
The following postings are RTF *Rich Text Format* Files, describing
four complete CD's. If you import them in your Text editor
and that one understands RTF, these files print as a Cassette Label On Legal Paper.
iIf you want the files without the descriptions (just plain text) I might
mail those to you as well, but I thought these were much nicer... :)
Enjoy, and cut the Text down to here. Enno (q09960@pbhrzx.uni-paderborn.de)

\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 I'm writing you this letter
\par From some old hotel
\par I can feel the distance between us
\par From the Spanish Steps
\par To the Liberty Bell
\par I know the angels have seen us
\par They can see us baby
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 They see you down on Seventh Avenue
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 While you're just hangin' by a thread
\par And I'm sittin' in a lonely room
\par Without a view
\par Wishin' I was there with you instead
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Won't you walk through this world with me
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Walk through the world
\par Over the miles of mystery
\par Walk through this world with me
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 I'm staring out across the rooftops
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 I've seen the writing on the wall
\par Heard a little bit of thunder
\par At the seventh wonder
\par And everything is bound to rise and fall
\par That's all
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Won't you walk through this world with me
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Walk through the world
\par Over the mountains and the shining sea
\par Walk through this world with me
\par Walk on
\par Walk on - Walk on
\par Walk on
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Let me get this ringing out of my ears
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Let me get theses stars out of my eyes
\par 'Cause I just wanna look back over all the years
\par With you right there
\par standing by my side
\par Could you just
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Walk through this world with me
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Walk through the world
\par Over the miles of mystery
\par Walk through this world with me
\par
\par \pard\plain \s251\sa120\keep\keepn \scaps\f4\fs14\lang1033 Rest For the Weary
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 My father was a working man
\par But his work was never done
\par He stood behind the counter
\par And smiled at everyone
\par He bought himself a business
\par Worked seven days a week
\par Took a holiday for Christmas
\par Then fell asleep beside the tree
\par But one day
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 One day
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 There's love for the lonely
\par One day
\par They walk in the sun
\par One day
\par Rest for the weary
\par Rest for the weary ones
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Now my mother stood beside him
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 She did what she could do
\par But if you look at some old photograph
\par She looks tired too
\par I hope there was some laughter
\par 'Cause I know there were some tears
\par Now all that I can say is I pray to God
\par That after all those years
\par After all those years
\par That one day
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 One day
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 There's love for the lonely
\par One day
\par They walk in the sun
\par One day
\par Rest for the weary
\par Rest for the weary ones
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Now I'm just another traveller
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 On another winding road
\par I'm trying to walk some kind of line
\par I'm trying to pull some kind of load
\par Now sometimes I move real easy
\par Sometimes I can't catch my breath
\par Sometimes I see my father's footsteps
\par And man it scares me half to death
\par But one day
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 One day
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 There's love for the lonely
\par One day
\par They walk in the sun
\par One day
\par Rest for the weary
\par Rest for the weary ones
\par
\par \pard\plain \s251\sa120\keep\keepn \scaps\f4\fs14\lang1033 The Rainy Season
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Clouds move in
\par From off the horizon
\par Feels like nighttime
\par In the middle of the day
\par And I don't know why
\par But it's still so surprising
\par How a love grows stronger
\par Or it just fades away
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 But you look older today
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Than I've ever seen you
\par I think I know the reason
\par We might wash all our tears away
\par But you got to bundle up baby
\par For the rainy season
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 I hear you breathing heavy
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 On the telephone tonight
\par I can feel the air is thick as thieves
\par Sometimes I just want to tell you
\par We'll be alright
\par At least that's what some part of me believes
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 But you look older today
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Than I've ever seen you
\par I think I know the reason
\par We might wash all our tears away
\par But you got to bundle up baby, bundle up, bundle up
\par For the rainy season
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Oh, oh I've been holding on so long
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Holding on and holding on so long
\par Oh, oh I've been holding on so long
\par Won't you bundle up baby
\par Could you bundle up, bundle up. bundle up
\par For the rainy season

\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Dogs are barking and she's so high
\par She's never coming down
\par Don't wanna pull the shade tonight
\par I think I wanna drown
\par I'm sending out a message
\par Or could I die too soon?
\par 'Cause I don't know where I'm goin'
\par Since Mama's in the moon
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 I can hear her laughing
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 I can hear her cry
\par I can see her dancing
\par Somewhere in the sky
\par I'm rising like the ocean
\par And I'm crazy as a loon

\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Don't talk to her when she is softly sleeping
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Don't wake her to the sound of your voice whispering her name
\par Don't tell her all the secrets you've been keeping

\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 When the wolf is howling
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Underneath the moon

\par Don't talk to her when the fever id frightening
\par When she's burning in the bedroom in an evening gown

\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 I had just checked in when the sun came up
\par After ten hours on the bus
\par I was starin' at the ceiling baby
\par Tryin' not to think about us
\par But then someone in room 502
\par Started doin' the things that we used to do
\par Every bang
\par Every boom
\par Was just like it was happening in my own room
\par 'Cause they got paper walls
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Paper walls
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Paper walls
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 I closed the curtain
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 I shut the light
\par I heard the highway moan
\par Next thing I remember they was havin' a fight and then
\par She was all alone
\par I heard her cryin' in her darkest hour
\par I heard the echo from the hotel shower
\par I heard her start to packin' her things so
\par I called her number and I heard it ring
\par Right through the paper walls
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Paper walls
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Paper walls
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 I've never seen such a sight before
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 The way she looked when she opened the door
\par Hush now baby don't make a sound
\par When all your love comes tumblin' down
\par Just like paper walls
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Paper walls
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Paper walls

\par \pard\plain \s251\sa120\keep\keepn \scaps\f4\fs14\lang1033 From The Station
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 I can see you with the top down
\par In that car you keep under the eaves
\par I can see the ocean wind blow
\par Through your hair
\par And all along your sleeves
\par I see you turning up the radio
\par Listening to the DJ's dedication
\par I can see you with the angels
\par Flying off the tower
\par At the station
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Me I keep watching from a corner of my eye
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Looking for some reason I should run
\par I know you don't have the answers either baby
\par But at least I know that you can really love someone
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 I see you kneeling in the garden
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Closer now to something real and true
\par I see you feeding something beautiful
\par And I think that's all you ever
\par Really wanted to do
\par Now you're blowing out the candles
\par Now the guests pull out the drive
\par Now you're listening for the telephone
\par Or footsteps
\par That don't arrive
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Me I keep watching from a corner of my eye

\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Lately he can feel it
\par Turning off inside his heart
\par She's calling him from the car phone
\par And she's falling apart
\par Now he could call her in prescription
\par And they will take it down off the shelf
\par But he knows that he can't save her from herself no more
\par No more
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 And you can ride home in the country doctor
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 And you might do the best that you can
\par But who is gonna help the medicine man
\par Who is gonna save him?
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Now he always was a healer
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 There was something in his eyes
\par And his hand upon her head
\par When fever started to rise
\par And there's someone he lost long ago
\par Now there's flowers on her grave
\par And they say that it's still her
\par That he's trying to save
\par He's trying to save her
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 And you can ride home in the country doctor

\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Later on in the evening

\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 He sees right through your old disguise

\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 She runs down the staircase
\par And into the yard
\par And she goes to the end of the drive
\par With her friends on the phone
\par And her angels on the guard
\par She's just recently feeling alive
\par After all of the tears and the changes
\par Now there's something that's taken ahold
\par She's becoming gold
\par She's becoming gold
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 She thinks of a boy
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 That she knew back in school
\par And she wonders if he's doing alright
\par The man of her dreams
\par Isn't all that she seems
\par And the baby don't sleep through the night

\par And the weather id turning so cold
\par But he's becoming gold

\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 She can hear in the distance
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 The sound of the cars

\par Now the trees and the houses
\par Are white as the stars
\par And she doesn't wanna cry
\par But she probably will
\par As she thinks about all of life's mystery
\par And how slowly the answers unfold
\par She's becoming gold

\par Is there someone there that knows us
\par Said we'd give you all our love
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 Will you laugh just like your mother
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Will you sigh like your old man
\par Will some things skip a generation
\par Like I've heard they often can
\par Are you a poet or a dancer
\par A devil or a clown
\par Or some strange new combination of
\par The Things We've handed down
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 I wonder who you'll look like
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 Will your hair fall down and curl
\par Will you be a mama's boy
\par Or daddy's little girl
\par Will you be a sad reminder
\par Of what's been lost along the way
\par Maybe you can help me find her
\par In the things you do and say
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 And these things that we have given you
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 They are not so easily found
\par But you can thank us later
\par For the things we've handed down
\par \pard\plain \s255\qj\sb24 \f4\fs10\lang1033 You may not always be so grateful
\par \pard\plain \qj \f4\fs10\lang1033 For the way that you were made
\par Some feature of your father's
\par That you'd gladly sell or trade
\par And one day you may look at us
\par And say that you were cursed
\par But over time that line has been
\par Extremely well rehearsed
\par By our fathers, and their fathers
\par In some old and distant town
\par From places no one here remembers
\par Come the things we've handed down{\*\bkmkend DDE_LINK1}
